Our location at KFKI campus
We are part of the Wigner Research Center for Physics, an institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The Wigner Research Center for Physics is mainly located in buildings Nos. 1 and 3 of the KFKI campus (a technology park in the western hilly outskirts of Budapest, historically built for a consolidated institute for all physics within the Academy). To reach the campus, use the [1] mentioned on its web page (public line no. 21, plus dedicated shuttle buses in the morning from Széll Kálmán square and Koszolányi Dezső square).
We are in building 1. The Group Leader office is at room 112/c. Some group members work in room 112/a.
Location of partner universities in Budapest
- Department of Atomic Physics of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics can be found at the crossing of Budafoki street and Bertalan Lajos street, near Szent Gellért square (a station of M4 underground line) and various tramlines.
The Group Leader office can be found in building FA (shown in the map). The Group Leader goes often there on Wednesdays.
- Buildings of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Eötvös Loránd University (sometimes called simply University of Budapest) can be found south of Goldmann György square; accessible mainly by tramlines Nos. 4 and 6, and various buses (212,153).
