MediaWiki API result

This is the HTML representation of the JSON format. HTML is good for debugging, but is unsuitable for application use.

Specify the format parameter to change the output format. To see the non-HTML representation of the JSON format, set format=json.

See the complete documentation, or the API help for more information.

We are developing and implementing new techniques for introducing dopants and defects in semiconductor (nano)structures, and studying their properties by experimental and theoretical spectroscopy tools. \n</p><p>We combine heat combustion, ion or neutron irradiation, colloid chemistry and related techniques to realize semiconductor nanostructures. Our focus is on silicon carbide to realize ultimate <i>in vivo</i> bioimaging agents. We are active in the field of <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computational_Materials_Science\">computational materials science</a> and has a large experience in using <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Density_functional_theory\">density functional theory</a> (DFT) based methods in solids and nanostructures. The group leader started to apply advanced <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hybrid_functional\">hybrid density functional</a> theory methods on defects in bulk and nanostructured semiconductors already from 2002. From 2005 the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GW_approximation\">GW method</a> was also applied. Advanced <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time-dependent_density_functional_theory\">time-dependent DFT</a> (TDDFT) has been employed to determine the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absorption_spectrum\">absorption spectrum</a> of <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanocluster\">nanoclusters</a> since 2008. These theories were utilized directly to defect engineering in <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semiconductor\">bulk semiconductors</a> and in their oxide interface, <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biomarkers\">biomarkers</a>, <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spintronics\">solid state quantum bits and spintronics</a>, <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_cells\">solar cells</a> and related topics.\n</p>\n\n\n</object>\n\n</html>"
